This is the homepage of the  York Place Homeowners Association. York Place is located in a rural setting in York Township outside of Saline city limits. It was established in 2000 and is completed with 106 beautiful one-acre single-family homes. This website contains board member contact information, meeting notes and documents for the homeowners of York Place.

Annual Neighborhood Party
Saturday June 4th at 4:00pm held in Adelaide Court. We will have pulled pork and chicken and pizza for the kids. Please bring a dish to pass and drinks and chairs for yourselves. If anyone has any lawn/party games that would be welcome as well.

We have included the potluck signup. Please add the number that will be attending in the Description column so he have an approximate count for the party.

All homeowners should receive written approval from the YPHA Board prior to starting any modification to their property.

Lawns are predominantly composed of grass, kept to a length of no more than six inches during summer. Each owner shall have the responsibility to maintain the grounds of his home, together with that portion of the general common elements in frontthereof between the home and the traveled portion of the road right-of-way, including the mowing of grass to a height of six inches or less, removal of weeds, and proper trimming of bushes and trees.

The board must approve all fences. Fences must be composed of materials consistent with the look of the home, and must be no taller than four feet, with the exception of fences around swimming pools. Fences are required around swimming pools, and must meet township requirements. Cyclone fences, snow fences, and fences of plywood construction will not be approved. Perimeter fences will not be approved.

No travel trailers, motor homes, commercial vehicles, boat trailers, boats, camping vehicles, camping trailers, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, snowmobile trailers, or vehicles other than automobiles or vehicles used primarily for general personal transportation purposes may be parked or stored upon the York Place Subdivision, unless parked in the garage with the door closed. Travel trailers, motor homes, camping vehicles, and camping trailers may be temporarily parked upon the unit for a period of no more than forty-eight (48) consecutive hours for loading and unloading purposes.

It’s that time of year again, when the days get shorter, the leaves turn color and the temperature drops. Please remember a few things as these changes begin:

  • Remember to winterize your sprinkler system.
  • Aerating your lawn will help grass growth and health in the spring.
  • During winter our roads will be plowed according to need.
  • We also have a discounted rate for driveway plowing as well.
